Shipping & Returns

Every Zayna parcel is packed by hand in a small kitchen somewhere between London and Algiers. Here’s how it reaches you, and what we’ll do if something isn’t right.

Where we ship

We deliver across the United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. We don’t ship outside the UK yet; we’re working on it, slowly.

How long it takes

Most makers dispatch within 2–4 working days of receiving your order, because nothing sits on a shelf — it’s baked, jarred, or rolled for you. Once dispatched, parcels arrive in 1–3 working days via tracked courier.

Estimated dispatch windows are shown on each product page, and the exact tracking link lands in your inbox the moment your maker hands the parcel over.

What it costs

Flat-rate tracked shipping is £4.95 across the UK. Orders over £50 ship free as a small thank-you. Highlands, islands, and Northern Ireland may take an extra day; the price stays the same.

Packaging

We use insulated, recyclable mailers and paper void-fill — no polystyrene, no plastic air pillows. Items that need to stay cool travel with a small ice pack; please refrigerate them as soon as they arrive.

If something arrives damaged

Take a photo of the parcel and the affected items before unpacking further, and write to us within 48 hours of delivery at hello@zayna.shop. We’ll arrange a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer — without a fuss.

Returns

Because our products are perishable artisanal foods, we can’t accept returns for change of mind — it wouldn’t be safe to resell them. If an item is faulty, spoiled, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we’ll make it right with a refund or replacement.

Where a return is appropriate (non-perishable items, for example), we’ll arrange a prepaid label and refund within 14 days of receipt.

Missed deliveries

Couriers will leave a card or attempt redelivery. If a parcel comes back to us undelivered after three attempts, we’ll reach out — reshipping costs may apply for a second send.

Cancellations & changes

You can cancel or change your order until it’s been handed to the maker for preparation, usually within a few hours of placing it. Once the maker has begun, we’re unable to cancel — but if anything ever feels wrong, write to us and we’ll find a way.
